Malicious Blogging

Salisbury mayor: Malicious blogs endangering city

What I find interesting about articles like this is what they do not mention.

As most folks that write in the public domain know, there are a number of laws in place to prevent Libel and Slander (unless, of course, you're a Politician, in which case you seem to be allowed to say whatever the hell you want).

So in my opinion, here is what this mayor is actually saying:
We have a number of corrupt S.O.B's who would love to gain office to fleece the public for as much as possible before they're caught, but they're too concerned that there is an information channel they do not control that will point out their corruption and make them look just like the fools they are. Therefore, they are choosing to find other, less obvious ways to commit their scams.

Blog on folks, blog on.
